Health Coaching - What to Expect

Health Coaching might be new to you but it's a vital component of our program and how our clients achieve their goals! Use this page to help you understand what health coaching is, how to prepare for your first visit, and what you can gain from working with your coach!

What is Health Coaching? 

  1. It’s a safe space to share openly, to process, and to reflect on your progress so that you can reach your goals with more clarity and confidence.
  2. It’s an opportunity to share what’s working (and what’s not working) so that we can help you implement a plan that is doable for the long haul.
  3. In our sessions, you’ll learn how to slow down to be onto your thoughts, feelings, and emotions; this is how we simplify the journey to optimal health. Slowing down to do this work will speed up your results.
  4. We’ll identify patterns and thoughts that are no longer serving you, and we’ll upgrade them with beliefs rooted in self-trust, faith, and confidence. You CAN do this.
  5. We’ll help you make sustainable upgrades to lifestyle factors like:some text

    • Sleep
    • Stress
    • Emotional well-being
  6. Our goal with health coaching is to help you develop your own deep bench of tools and practices that will help YOU feel your best.
  7. Health coaching is a container to move big emotions through the body to help regulate your nervous system.
  8. My job is to be a mirror for you; to help you see yourself more clearly. You are more powerful and capable than you realize. 
  9. Our sessions are time dedicated to intentionally celebrating your growth and progress. This is how we help you shift your self-concept.
  10. As your health coach, my job is to provide loving accountability so that you DO reach your goals.

How to Prepare for Your First Health Coaching Session!

  • Make sure you’ve completed all of your onboarding paperwork. We will be working from your Bone Optimization Intake Form during our initial session.
  • Do not schedule your first session with your health coach until you’ve had your first session with your dietitian.
  • Relax and get excited for 55 minutes of nourishing support.
  • In this session, you’ll:
  1. Learn what our role is as a part of your healthcare team.
  2. How to get the most out of our sessions going forward.
  3. We’ll start to formulate a plan for where our work together will begin.
  4. We’ll get to address any questions / concerns you may have as you’re learning our new platforms and starting to focus on your health goals. Any and all questions / feedback is welcome! If we’re not the appropriate person to answer a question, we will direct you to the team member who is.
